Beginning with infants and toddlers with special needs up to age eight, STAR Rubino Family Center’s team of certified teachers and therapists provide early intervention services in the home, daycare center, preschool, and other community settings. Services focus on helping the family to help their child within the family’s daily routine, culture, values and priorities. Therapeutic, educational and social services are offered to meet the development and health needs of their child.
STAR Rubino Family Center offers direct intervention with a coaching approach by licensed Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Special Education Teachers. Services include developmental evaluations and consultations and transition-to-school support. Additional services include assistive technology, translation, and family supports as well as service options for 6 to 8 year olds.
STAR is proud to introduce group activities for Birth-to-5 such as feeding, movement, play, and music groups (pending current Covid-19 restrictions).
STAR is an approved provider accepting Medicaid, most medical insurances and private pay.
